Privacy Policy

1. Scope and application name

The App is identified by the App Store listing or in-app legal screen from which you opened this policy. A change to its display name does not, by itself, change its developer, data practices, or this policy's scope. This is not a blanket policy for every product developed by fangzheng. Materially different features or data practices require an updated policy or a separate notice.

This policy covers the App described here and this website. Zoom, Apple, email providers, calendar providers, and other third parties maintain their own policies for their services.

2. Information processed

The App does not include developer-operated advertising, behavioral analytics, cross-app tracking, or a developer-hosted account system. It does not request Contacts, location, microphone, or camera access. Third-party applications and pages may separately request permissions or process information under their own policies.

3. How information is used

• Display, search, sort, remind you about, and keep local history of meetings.
• Create, edit, organize, and complete local tasks.
• Open meeting links and display third-party scheduling pages.
• Retrieve a calendar file during meeting creation and pass it to Apple Calendar.
• Remember preferences and provide the startup and reminder behavior you select.
• Answer support requests and maintain necessary correspondence records.
• Deliver and protect this website and address legal or security issues.

Calendar access depends on system permission. Third-party features depend on your use of those features and the provider's requirements. This policy is a notice, not blanket consent to unrelated collection or tracking.

4. Storage and retention

Local meetings, tasks, and recovery copies

Meeting and task files are stored in local application data within your macOS user account, using app-managed encryption. Active imports cover the one-month-past to one-month-future window. Completed meeting history is normally pruned to the preceding year when the App runs its cleanup routines. Tasks remain until deleted or the local data is removed.

The App keeps recovery copies of data files. Deleted or expired items can remain in an older recovery copy until it is replaced or removed. System, calendar-provider, and personal backups may also retain copies. Uninstalling the App alone may not remove all data or backups.

Temporary calendar files

During meeting creation, the App may automatically retrieve an .ics file, temporarily save it, and open it in Calendar. Removal is scheduled after approximately two minutes. A later launch removes stale temporary files; interruptions can delay cleanup. This does not delete events already imported into Calendar.

Preferences, sessions, and correspondence

Preferences and embedded web-view data may remain until the relevant local data is removed. Session expiration also depends on the provider. We keep support correspondence only as reasonably needed to answer requests, maintain necessary records, comply with law, or resolve disputes. Hosting and email providers retain their own records under their policies.

5. Third-party services

Meeting services

The App currently opens or displays Zoom services. Connections go to Zoom and resources used by its pages, not to a meeting or task server operated by fangzheng. Pages may make automatic network requests and use cookies during loading and sign-in. Review the Zoom Privacy Statement. The App is independently developed and is not sponsored or endorsed by Zoom. This description does not grant rights beyond those provided by the service.

Apple and other providers

The App uses macOS services including Calendar, notifications, clipboard, sharing, launch-at-login, and system review requests. Opening meetings, importing events, sharing content, or composing email may involve Apple, your calendar or email provider, or another service, under their own terms and privacy policies.

Website hosting

This website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process connection and security information and use service cookies where needed to deliver or protect the site. We have not added advertising or analytics scripts to these legal pages. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

6. Disclosure and sale

We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The App does not upload calendar events, tasks, or local meeting history to us. Information may be passed to system services or third parties through scheduling, links, imports, notifications, copying, sharing, or email. Third-party pages may transmit connection and session data automatically as described above.

Hosting and email providers process information involved in website access and support. We may disclose information we actually hold when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or protect legal rights. We do not possess your local meeting and task database unless you choose to send its contents to us.

7. Your choices and deletion

• Permissions: Deny or revoke Calendar and notification access in macOS System Settings. Local task features do not require Calendar access.
• Local content: Edit or delete tasks in the App. Calendar changes are reflected on refresh; historical copies may remain until cleanup.
• Complete local removal: Quit the App and remove its local data, preferences, recovery copies, and web-view data as appropriate. Contact us for guidance before deleting files, which can permanently remove local content.
• Third-party data: Manage accounts, imported events, and privacy requests with the provider. Signing out does not necessarily clear every cookie. Safari website-data settings do not necessarily clear an embedded App web view.
• Support records: Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us, subject to applicable law and necessary retention.

There is no developer-hosted App account or cloud task database to delete. We cannot remotely remove data on your Mac or records held independently by other providers. Contact us to exercise additional rights provided by applicable law; reasonable verification may be required and we will respond within the applicable period.

8. Security

The App uses the macOS App Sandbox and app-managed encryption for local meeting and task files. It is not a user-password-protected vault. Do not rely on this encryption to protect data from someone with access to your device or the application. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device, backups, accounts, and credentials, and avoid sending confidential content or passwords in support requests.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 or a higher minimum age required by law. Third-party services may have higher age requirements that still apply to their features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if features, data practices, providers, or legal requirements materially change. The date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will give notice and obtain necessary consent before new processing begins. A name change alone does not authorize new collection or use of data.

Reporting a problem

Include the App's current display name, app version, macOS version, and reproduction steps. Hide private information in screenshots. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, meeting passcodes, or confidential meeting links.

Common questions

• Missing meetings: Check Calendar access, the event's Zoom link, and the import window.
• Missing reminders: Check notification and Focus settings. For full-screen reminders, enable the feature and keep the App running.
• Scheduling and joining: Scheduling opens Zoom's website and may require sign-in and Calendar access. Joining opens Zoom or its meeting page; the App does not host calls.
• System requirements: The current App requires macOS 13 or later. Check its store listing for updated compatibility information.
